Patricia Scornavacca – Director / President

With 20 years of experience in the field of Autism and Special Needs, Pattie still continues her education. She loves working in an environment where she makes a difference in the “quality of life” for the people she serves. Her dedication is to the whole family not just the classified child. She has served the community as an EMT in River Edge for 12 years and Paramus for 10 years. She is still a CPR, AED, and First Aid Instructor at the Bergen County EMS Training Center. She has many other Civic and State Awards in addition to other certifications not related to the education field. Pattie was originally a Psychology Major seeking a degree in grief counseling. She changed her direction after the tragic deaths of her 2 Autistic nephews and having Special Needs children of her own. She is the parent of 4 boys, 3 girls, and has been sponsoring another young lady from Guatemala for 6 years who proudly calls her “mom”.
Pattie is also trained in CDA, Verbal Behavior, Sign Language, Procedural Safeguards, Incident Command, Handle With Care Behavior Management System IFSP, Speech Therapy In-Service, Early Intervention, ABA/DI, OT Strategies In-Service, Professional Development Documentation, School Avoidance, and Behavioral Treatment.

Roland D. Scornavacca – Vice President

Roland has Extensive Technical and Management training in the Military and Business. He graduated from The Air Force Training School in Wyoming as a Communications Specialist and obtained a Secret Security Clearance. He was later honorably discharged from The United States Air Force after 4 years of service. Roland then joined the Western Union Corporation in New York as a Management Trainee and worked his way up to Regional Vice President. He has been the Management Consultant and Vice President at BellSouth and two additional corporations. He also trades the FOREX market (Foreign Exchange Currency) via the internet. He has over 40 years of experience in project management, program management, new product development, marketing, sales management, operations, consulting, research, and all aspects of the business process.

 

Brigitte H. Scornavacca – Secretary

Educated in Germany, Brigitte obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a major in Insurance. She speaks, reads and writes fluently in German and English. She worked in a large German insurance company, learning every phase of the business from the ground up. Brigitte came to the United States to expand her knowledge in English and earned both a State Insurance License and Broker’s License. She worked for several insurance agencies including the largest in the State of New Jersey. She was qualified and sold all types of insurance while also organizing and managing the day-to-day office operations. Brigitte ran a large and successful Amway Distributorship and obtained the rank of Voting Member Direct Distributor. She trades the FOREX market (Foreign Exchange Currency) via the internet and is an excellent and resourceful researcher, sales manager, project manager. She has over 40 years of experience and is familiar with all aspects of the business process.

 

Tara Keenan – Fundraising Director

Tara is trained in ABA Therapy and has over 7 years of experience as an ABA Aide in the public school system. Tara is currently working as an Executive Assistant for Heart & Associates, LLC and is very involved in assisting with ABA Home Programming alongside her efforts with H2H4Autism.

 

Lisa Milordo – Administration

Lisa got into the field of Autism when her son Rafaello was diagnosed with ASD in 2008. As a mother of a child with Special Needs, she truly understands what each family experiences when their child receives a diagnosis. With that in mind, Lisa shares a deeply personal connection with families that she works with. She takes great care in helping to walk them through the overwhelming process of finding the correct therapy for their children. Lisa has a professional background in Marketing; having worked for many years as a Marketing Director for a large children’s publisher. Lisa is also trained in CPR & ABA Therapy.
